Characteristics
|
A spring will compress when a
load is applied. The amount of deflection will be determined by
the spring rate. It is not advisable
to use more than 80% of the maximum possible deflection.
|
An
initial load must be applied before the coils will begin to
open. The amount of deflection thereafter is determined by the
spring rate. We recommend a safe extended length for our springs.
